Potassium Cocoate is the potassium salt of the coconut fatty acid. It's often called 'potassium soap,' as soap is the sodium salt of the coconut fatty acid. It is derived from 100% natural coconut oil and consists of a mixture of fatty acids. 

Potassium Cocoate has excellent foaming and cleansing properties. It is used widely in shampoos, scrubs, and liquid soaps as a surfactant and emulsifying agent. It's a relatively mild surfactant and can give a soft touch, so it's commonly used as a primary surfactant(base) in natural shampoo, body lotion, and liquid laundry detergent.

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life of  KC-35 is 12 months.

Recommended dosage:

The recommended dosage of KC-35 in detergents and personal care products is 10.0%-50.0%.
