Chlorinated paraffin is an odorless, non-toxic, flame-retardant, and low-volatility viscous liquid with low volatility and good electrical insulation, insoluble in water, ethanol, ethylene glycol and glycerin, soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and theirachlorine compounds etc. It can be used as a plasticizer for PVC, an additive for rubber, coatings and inks, an additive for machining lubricants, and a flame retardant for plastics and rubber.
