Product Description

Hydroxyethyl Urea is synthetically derived from urea. It is an excellent moisturizer and humectant widely used in a variety of personal care products and cosmetics. Hydroxyethyl urea can penetrate into the stratum corneum to increase skin moisture and improve skin elasticity significantly.

It has an equivalent moisturizing ability to its typical rival - Glycerin. However, Hydroxyethyl Urea is often more favored than Glycerin as it does not leave a sticky and tacky feel to the skin like Glycerin usually does. It leaves the skin a moist, light, and fresh feel after use.
